You will receive your Snow Coin in 2019. At that point, the lava coin supply will be 4 million. Mining this coin is fun since it's the only way to do POS. If you mine then POS, you can get a fair amount of coin in time for the 2019 Fork.
So Lava Coin gives you a daily POS interest rate plus 3 forks over 2 years. And if more game title joins the project, each time you will get a new fork. This enables each game to start with an existing coin supply + an independent economy that can evolve with custom coin specification. It is very possible that we remove the MN system completely and we go with a POS that is simply share with all coin holder.
