People here invest in coins they believe in. Everybody is going to tell you which ones they like best. But what I think is best you do is go out there and read what each of them brings. New, something that hasn't been done. Then invest in ones you think will do better. No other way, then you can't say it went wrong because I listened to somebody else.

Just sign up on one of the sites people noticed (vircurex is another one mentioned a lot), deposit some BTC and you can start trading.
