yes, the information technology services company, LG CNS. According to The Korea Times, the service aims to capitalize on a profitable block-based service area, particularly in the areas of telecommunications, manufacturing and finance.

Meh, I doubt this will amount to anything or even be used. It's something that companies do to get some hype, and it's going to work for LG due to the fact that people LOVE when they hear comapanies screaming about the blockchain and what they're trying to do to implement it. Nice marketing move, but I don't see them getting any REAL USAGE out of the tech anyway.

I guess we'll have to wait and see.

Blockchain is one of the great invention of modern era. Tech giant companies are entering to adopt the technology, And eventually they are getting engaged in the crypto industry. This is really so poitive sign. I believe by involving in crypto market new coin will be here in the market and thus LG will be able to expand their market and make position in their own industry as well.

Similar news from different companies will roll out soon, because companies have begun to realize the true potential as well the growth of blockchain. Already Samsung into mining equipments development and now LG coming up with its own blockchain support with the growth of technology step forward along with the growth of the cryptocurrency market.

LG is one of the world's major electronics manufacturer and this is a great move, considering the fact that they have a huge customer base all over the world. If they decide to have an ICO this year, I am sure they will attract quite a good number of investors. I see it as success in making.

With Samsung already in, this is not a surprise. No wonder South Korea is one of the leaders in technology. This country know a good thing when they see one. And their government is there to support it.

I don't think that these tech giants needs to start an ICO. They have the necessary capital to work with, and their blockchain solution will be much more connected to the logistics, services, payments and not to create another cryptocurrency. They can modernize their system in order to cut some costs but I also can imagine that they just want to appear in the news like all of the other tech companies...

I really doubt that they will do have their own ICO though. They are just taking advantage of this technology. And you have to understand that this is not a public ledger but a private one and for their internal used alone.

And its logical for big companies to set up their own blockchain because its very important to have data ready anytime. So it makes sense for them to adopt this technology and somewhat save a lot of money as well.

Just woke for the sehri and got this news lately! A very good news for everyone. If LG comes in blockchain world will be more known and popular. But I don't think that LG will bring their ICO.

I hope they fail if this is just like KodakCoin or whatever to boost stock prices. If they are however serious about making something with blockchain tech then I wish them all the best!

the blockchain is a very good technology
but  the purpose is not to launch a coin
it should have a strong whitepaper behind it to be a successful project

I will surprise if they will launch their ico because I don't think big companies interested in our money, they just interested in the technology, money raised in ico is not necessary for them.

As a lot of big companies, LG is goint to join the blockchain. They are suffering from worlds economy and trying to find a new way to be alive. But if there will be an ICO, I would never join.

I don't think that they are planning to announce an ICO, LG is a huge company so they can fund their own projects. About the news about LG joining the growing industry of companies that are implementing blockchain technology with their services or businesses, I think this is a good news but I'm not gonna expect that this thing will be a big thing. The main goal of this monachain is to help businesses to boost their productivity but what is the purpose of this if different companies can just create their own blockchain based platform or system. right? For me, if I own a company I would rather choose to create my own blockchain based system even it will cost me a lot than trusting other company with my system.

Good news fro LG the effects are reaching far and wide and more people are seeing it as the future to most businesses. The trust is also an indicator that crypto is just not done yet as its the one who introduced bl0ckchain into the market

I see today many companies are using the blockchain system, this is a good development. LG has excellent product quality, especially electronics.

so, I think LG service will make customers more satisfied and comfortable.

I think a lot of electronic manufactures are responding to the development of cryptocurrency
SAMSUNG is also rumored to be silently making tools for mining coins
this is a positive signal for the entire crypto community

All of these companies that are announcing centralized versions of blockchain for no valid reason other than a gimicky marketing compaign are going to be upset when they realize most people see right through it. It doesn't surprise me when companies announce things like this, but it makes me know which companies are desperate.

every one want to earn money for himself, creat own crypto that grow up fast, maybe we all should look for that proect and take part in it

It's even hard for me to imagine how much it will cost. But I would definitely invest my money in this. This should be a very successful one. I'm looking forward to it!

On June 10, the South Korean government integrated blockchain into the public sector. LG CNS and Korean Government Mint, KOMSCO, will work together to develop the “first public blockchain platform” and issue community tokens as a type of digital gift certificate.

According to Business Korea, the Korea Minting, Security Printing & ID Card Operating Corp. (KOMSCO) hired LG CNS, an IT subsidiary of LG Group, to develop the “first public blockchain platform in South Korea.”

is a nice move to have a blockchain service because there is already a products connecting it that will give it value, they just develop a system they can control by themselves, my advice for them will be instead of developing their own blockchain services, they should have develop a coin use to pay for goods and service it should have being more ideal for them.
