So, I'll take for granted that you read and understand 100% of the source code every time you compile it... I would like to read your reports about those source audits if that's what you do. It seems a little exaggerated fear to me... Fear? What about doing the right thing? Let everybody have access to Bitcoin, and not only whoever is not on the Forbidden Persons list? Last time I compiled it was maybe a month ago and it's been running since. FreeBSD. Been modifying my own Makefile to keep up with changes (obtained by syncing to Trunk as desired due to code changes I want or general maintenance windows.)
I REALLY appreciate that it is a simple binary that can be run without 'installation' so I can run it fine from my build dir. Also that it runs well on minimal hardware and is stable.
