This is probably good for Hyde Park :) I'm newbie in coins, mining etc. -> I'm sorry if I say any stupidity ::) If I understand correctly, mining consists in calculating the cryptographic hashes that are not anyone to do anything you need? Would not it be better to link the coins mining of calculating something of value such as Seti or cancer research? Coins would be assign (paid) for processed a data packet. It would have been much more difficult to build such a system of coins, but more useful and more enjoyable :) Sorry for my poor English and little knowledge in the field of coins What do you think about? I heard it was something to do with proof of work, that things like folding@home would be exploitable to fake shares. Not sure on the technicals. Thanks for information about these coins. @Anubite Yes, "proof of work" is important but would have been nice if this made the work was useful :) |
