Title: Bitcoin Translation Room Post by: LZ on February 23, 2011, 09:20:35 AM I suggest you to complete all language translations for the new Bitcoin version 0.3.20.
Just ask me about providing access to the translation tree (https://github.com/lzsaver/bitcoin-translation). Then use your favorite Git (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Git_(software)) shell and commit your translation. You can make your translation using poedit (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Poedit) program. Title: Re: Bitcoin Translation Room Post by: SmokeTooMuch on February 23, 2011, 08:08:00 PM nice!

Note: It's not completed yet. Yikes ! I accidently uploaded the old file, here is the new one: http://www.easy-share.com/1914010570/de.zip (http://www.easy-share.com/1914010570/de.zip) btw: somehow the board-upload doesn't work, error message says full folder or something. Title: Re: Bitcoin Translation Room Post by: LZ on February 27, 2011, 02:29:55 AM genjix, access granted. And also what is your translation language?

http://pastebin.com/2sWpGkpP EDIT: Fixed :) Title: Re: Bitcoin Translation Room Post by: gadoli on March 01, 2011, 11:17:20 PM Any idea who did the Hebrew translation?
I just thought recently about doing this, and today I saw somebody beat me to it. It's good enough, though I'd do it differently (Easy complaining from the sidelines ain't it? 8) ) I'm in for doing the FAQ as well.. Just let me know if that guy is not already on it, so I don't waste my time for nothing... Edit: Am I in the right place? Or is this thread for the software translations only? anyway, I meant the web site, if that wasn't obvious. Title: Re: Bitcoin Translation Room Post by: LZ on March 02, 2011, 05:43:17 PM We are doing software translations here.
By the way, I am still somewhat busy, but I will accept all your requests as soon as I will be free. Title: Re: Bitcoin Translation Room Post by: HostFat on March 08, 2011, 10:04:27 AM Is there a way to move all the translation thing here - http://crowdin.net - ? ( client / website )
It seems the best way :) Title: Re: Bitcoin Translation Room Post by: arslanm on March 23, 2011, 09:25:41 PM We are doing software translations here. By the way, I am still somewhat busy, but I will accept all your requests as soon as I will be free. Native Turkish speaker here. I'm just finished translating 0.3.20 to Turkish. http://www.easy-share.com/1914364998/bitcointr.zip (http://www.easy-share.com/1914364998/bitcointr.zip) Contains both .po and .mo files. Enjoy. Murat Edit: URL and zip file updated. Title: Re: Bitcoin Translation Room Post by: HostFat on March 26, 2011, 01:06:45 PM I want to add the italian language to the wiki.

though i only have very very limited programming knowledge (writing simple read/write file and such in c). Title: Re: Bitcoin Translation Room Post by: LZ on April 07, 2011, 12:13:35 PM The only one thing that you need is the poedit program. Thank you, FnuGk.
Title: Re: Bitcoin Translation Room Post by: HostFat on April 28, 2011, 08:42:01 PM How can we easly update the translation with the lastest version?
Can you add a service like http://crowdin.net ? The translation tree is outdated. Title: Re: Bitcoin Translation Room Post by: alkor on May 11, 2011, 06:45:55 PM The only one thing that you need is the poedit program. Thank you, FnuGk. lzsaver, are you going to add the Turkish translation provided above. I am a native Turkish speaker also, and I would like to have a Turkish bitcoin client. Title: Re: Bitcoin Translation Room Post by: Danube on May 12, 2011, 01:27:31 PM I completed the translation to Esperanto: http://pastebin.com/ae0hva3u
Title: Re: Bitcoin Translation Room Post by: Dusty on May 12, 2011, 02:24:36 PM Could you register the project on launchpad (https://translations.launchpad.net/)?
This way the translation is really easy to do, it's made online, it's easy to check which strings need to be updated as each release comes out, etcetera Launchpad is really great for project localizations. Title: Re: Bitcoin Translation Room Post by: Gandaro on May 25, 2011, 12:56:28 PM Hi, I updated the current German translation. There were some mistakes. http://paste.pocoo.org/show/zTQTJqR8IB3RR58YUhEH/
