I wanna mostly mine to support this DNS system, not for profit. Yours Newbie Namecoins use the same SHA-256 algorithm as Bitcoins do, so I see no reason why ASIC shouldn't mine Namecoins. John. ASIC (in this case) is essentially a chip designed specifically for mining SHA-based coins.
