Title: MtGox Problem
Post by: someotherguy on February 23, 2011, 09:26:58 PM
I am trying to deposit some Bitcoin into my MtGox account.  When I input the amount, and press enter, message comes up

"One last Step!"

"Send (amount here) Bitcoin to this address":

and nothing to confirm it, no box to check OK or ENTER nothing, just that box telling me "one last step".  What step?

Now you need to send Bitcoins to the address!

You need to send the amount of BTC to the address it displays.

Copy the address given, then paste it into your Bitcoin program and send the bitcoins. After a few confirmations, the Bitcoins will be visible in your Mt. Gox account.
I have done this several times, never had any problems.

Don't forget to leave .01 BTC for the transaction cost.  For example, if your MtGox account has 15 BTC in it, you can only send 14.99, because .01 BTC is required for the transaction.

He's sending TO MtGox, not FROM.

That's necessary due to rounding errors, actually...
