Title: What % of airdrops that you signed up for did you actually receive tokens from?
Post by: rustyshackleford666 on May 14, 2018, 02:49:55 AM
I have signed up for quite a few drops over the past month, but have only received tokens from five so far.

This is what I expected, but I am hoping that 4-5 months from now I have received the majority of the tokens promised.

Anybody have experience with airdrops in 2016-2018?

Nowadays to gain free tokens from airdrops you need to refer friends to get points the more that friend that you referred, more tokens you earn. Honestly after i signed of a lot of airdrops and I did not get tokens, I did not try again to join in airdrop and I'd focus on bounty campaign.

Thanks for the info.

It does seem like some of them are heavily based around becoming a full time promoter, and it makes sense that those ones end up giving way more or all of the tokens to the bounty crew instead.

I have been following one list called Airdropsmob, and the ones they have been posting do appear to have accurate prices and assessments over what will be required. (KYC, Telegram, Facebook, Twitter, Reddit, Linkedin, BTT, Bounty work, etc)

I'm definitely going to report back here at the 3 and 6 month mark with a % of airdrops that came through, and common traits of the airdrops that actually provided what they promised.

Good luck to everybody else involved!

I haven't sit down to make that calculation but I am quite sure it is less than 30%, but that won't stop me from joining more Airdrops since it doesn't require much effort unlike bounty.

You must be a very patient person to wait that long for 4-5 months to receive tokens. I don't have that patience. I have realised that most airdrops are false. Only for marketing. And those which go through later become worthless tokens. For me, I try to avoid airdrops asking for erc wallets address.

Most of them are fake and don't really "pay" the coins they promised.

I have read numerous users saying they joined 100-200 airdrop and got about 20% of them only.

I have joined about 20-30 airdrops few months ago. I received about 5 coins, most of them less than 0.10usd.

I even made a post about it. Airdrops are not free, and are a waste of time:

I have been very luck with 50% airdrop I have done because most of them pay me very well and some them had be added to exchange. The one I got fascinated with was Biotron tokens which pay me 1717 tokens which I exchanged it to Ethereum

20% would be fine with me too.

I fill these out in between loading screens or during lobbies when playing games, or during down time at work.

I have been careful about who I do a KYC with (still could be a risk) and I don't install any sketchy wallet apps.

I guess some people don't consider these to be worth their time, but when I have spare time I feel like I might as well. (I also day trade alts, mine alts, and put decent amounts of my own money into the less sketchy looking ico's, airdropping is just something a bit extra)

One thing to consider is where you are finding your airdrops. Some of the mailing lists I have tried signing up for have tons of BS looking projects, but Airdropsmob and Airdropalert are where I found all the ones that have actually paid out so far.

For me, the percentage of airdrop tokens I receive is about 30%-40%, but only 1%-2% of tokens received in these tokens have a little value. I don't know if this is because of my bad luck. In short, it disappointed me.

I would say around 50%, with an actual value currently it gets down to 30-40% max. I have to say that I don't really chase them up if they don't send money to see whether I didn't comply with some requirements..there may be a part that I don't receive because of that

It´s nearly 100% but I am choosing only few airdrops of projects that seem to me legit and reasonable. I´m not joining every airdrop I see...

I think I am not that lucky when it comes to receiving airdrops. Before I was so patient at filling up every forms I see but only few came to my wallet that is why I diverted my effort into searching good ICO's to participate and for bounty also for additional tokens as remuneration for my efforts. Now, I am selective of the airdrops I am participating.
