Title: DogeCoins
Post by: Dogeonleash on December 20, 2013, 03:21:41 PM
Hi Everyone,
I am new here. I'd like to ask everyone what they think of Dogecoins, and if you could seriously see people using this as a currency. What I'd like to know is how the market cap is rising so quickly.

I think that value will be rising for few weeks maybe months and then will go down and will maybe die after like 1-2 years.

It is quick pump and dump coin. Someone with a lot of money is pumping it, obviously you will not wait long for the dump, most likely this year, but could be today as well (I dont know what their dump threshold is obviously)

I think that DogeCoin is a fun currency to use. It should rise in value and stay around for a while.

The memespeak aspect aside, I have already found its easier to explain this to others using its terminology.

Been trying to get my wife to help me find my old bitcoin wallet info on an old harddrive for months.  Used this to explain cryptocurrency, set up "digging" for her on her computer and showed her how she can check everything its doing and less than 12 hours later she busts out with a box of harddrives that I haven't seen for a couple years.  "Hope this helps."

If I find the wallet information I will have Dogecoin, in its derpy glory, to thank for it.

I'm not so sure it'll stay popular for too long, but for right now it's a fun currency to mess around with.

Very profitable at the moment,  hence people mining the doge crap out of it. Hehe.

Still a funny coin though. =)

You do realise it's only worth $ 0.00094 right now?

Yeah, I don't think it'll go up that high in a very long time, if ever. With my crappy system I can get around 3,000 a day. I'm not so sure in a month it'll become that rare.
