Title: Sapphire TRIXX Command Line/Automation
Post by: norulezapply on August 18, 2011, 11:42:33 AM
Hi Guys.

Anyone know how to automatically overclock and set fans speeds from the command line in TRIXX? Is it even possible?
I'm hoping to have it do that automatically on startup for one of my computers that is unfortunately still running windows.

Thanks
Sean

Sapphire doesn't have any CL documentation for Trixx.
The program itself is very GUI-dependent and doesn't even have a config file like Afterburner.

It is however the only program that can control voltages on the newer Sapphire 5830/5850 xtreme cards.

Indeed.
Kind of a shame to be honest.
I hope they implement it soon.

Yes.  Clocktweak is very cmd line friendly.

why do you need a command line?

TRIXX has a tick box that automatically sets clocks and fan on boot and/or startup. works with my 5830 and xp pro rig.

or am I missing something?

it doesn't work well at all with multi-gpu setups

I've had my fans kick back to BIOS defaults when using TRiXX, the card was sitting at 90C when I woke up on holiday and connected to my machine at home remotely.

Frightening.

ClockTweak is the best!
