Nanotoken (NAN) is a digital currency which uses encryption to regulate the generation of coins
and verify the transfer of funds, operating independently of a central bank.

NAN sets itself apart from other currencies by having a caring development community.
Nanotoken is a coin made for people that want to innovate with people that want to innovate.

https://i.imgur.com/wkGzuu8.png

Here, the innovation itself lies not in the coin itself, but what people create around it.
The "Dev Team" is there to set guidelines and help communication within the community.
This concept of innovation is entirely different than all mainstream coins.
Not a single group or organisation sets goals, but everyone has the chance to convey his opinion.

https://i.imgur.com/p5dnyH9.png

The world is full of good ideas that can be accomplished with a working community.
What the community needs, are programmers that are willing to share their skills
and knowledge to encourage others to realize their concepts of the future of cryptocurrencies.
The funding will come from the community itself and a development fund set up to
support those, that need backing in their endeavors.

https://i.imgur.com/X2pmpVR.png

Nanotoken will be the place to find a welcoming, friendly, and caring community
that help each other in supportive and constructive ways.
It is the place where anyone is able to realize their ideas, learn about how altcoins work
or help direct the path for the future of online currencies.

Great, another wallet from germany  ;D

Tried to run the wallet with all your listet addnodes, but can't find any node the last 30 minutes, can you give a hint?

Title: Re: [ANN] [NAN] Dev Takeover | NAN reloaded!
Post by: camodude009 on December 22, 2013, 07:51:06 PM
thanks for asking :)
The addnodes only work if the different ips have their wallets open.
The more people are on, the more connections you will have.
I just posted this many ips because someone asked for them (I had 35+ connections which is crazy!)
Yesterday they were all online, I guess people shut down their computers.
The more people keep the wallet open the more connections you will have.
If anyone reads this and is willing to do that, pm me your ip so we have more constant addnodes and not so many that are only on 1/2 of the day.

Thanks for the high-def picture darbsllim! I couldn't find any and the old dev had none either!
Where did you get the logo from if I may ask? :)

Thanks for keeping the support up, Camo

Whats the point if there are no vendors?

NAN was meant to be back on cryptsy after the old dev fixed it maybe people should ask cryptsy to re add it :)

Can you send me on 1 back, just trying to confirm my wallet isn't screwed.  Also is there anywhere else we can trade these outside coin-e?   Has anyone managed to trade on coin-e in the past 4 days?

Felix, I didn't get a coin.  Not sure whats up but ill send one to you test also.  Can someone send me one I just want to confirm its working that's all.

Sure can you resend to the following address

MbL6xF5dFcw8uA4QFchXYVMg8MBxrctNUs

I was able to send to cryptsy, has anyone tried or been able to send to coin-e?

I am at a loss here don't know what to do.

I've downloaded the wallet from Felix's post and it appears to be fully synced, but if I try to send to coin-e they go into a void, is there another place to trade nanotoken's at present?

Yes it forked a lot in the past due to BTC-X trying to destroy the coin.
Everything is fixed though now :)

Sorry it seems a lot of the ip's are changing.

If anyone here has a stable ip and would like to be added as a node just pm me.

It seems that coins-e is having problems with their wallets.
They have not responded to my tickets/emails/tweets.

DO NOT SEND ANYMORE COINS TO COINS-E UNTIL IT IS FIXED!

Sorry that we are encountering this issue :(

I'm about to invest some money into NAN as i don't want to mine any more. But i would like to know some more infos about what is going on with this coin. What are the future plans, what are you doing at the moment etc. It wouldn't make sense to me if there are 20 people involved and they are all just mining.

So please explain some more details to make this coin more interesting for traders.

I would also like to know what others think about this coin

500? Dang. Way too cheap xD seriously. We've partly traded at up to 3000 before. Hope we will get an update on the crytpsy status. I tried to spam them! XD

Any chance we can get nanotoken onto a platfo that supports multiple alternate coins? For payments of web services. I remember there's one that you can select the alternate coin you like.

Hello!
We are currently preparing a hardfork for NAN to remove some of the messy coding and add a proper block-halving (although it won't be a "halving").
Website is the next project!

Also network hash just jumped up to 50 MH/s.
Incredible guys, this is going places!

Hello!
We are currently preparing a hardfork for NAN to remove some of the messy coding and add a proper block-halving (although it won't be a "halving").
Website is the next project!

Also network hash just jumped up to 50 MH/s.
Incredible guys, this is going places!

Any news on this?

Thank you!

I do have to say we made a small error though :/
In the recent update we made a minor mistake and now block rewards are still at 50.
Update coming tonight. It will be fixed, but block halving will start at block 110,000.
Also we are taking this as an opportunity to change the difficulty change rate down to stop strip miners now that we are on a popular exchange.

Again its you guys I have to thank for supporting this coins revival :)

Hi all,

As I'm annoyed that an Abe explorer is not available for this coin, I'm working on one now. I have it working locally, but am getting in touch with my host to resolve some firewall issues preventing it from being public.

Please bear with me as I try to optimize things and such.

PS That background took some photoshop as well as some trigonometry (http://graphicdesign.stackexchange.com/questions/17132/how-to-create-a-pattern-or-tiles-from-rotated-elements) to figure out.

Still one of the smoothest coins out there. Cryptsy seems to have stabilized now at its bottom price. Logical as people had to get rid of the huge pile they accumulated over the time they couldn't sell it properly.

Was in contact with coinwarz to get nano on there as well. Which should make it a bit more popular!

Paper wallet, early stage.

http://prominer.org/nanoaddress/nanoaddress.html

The wallet is down for maintenance, new artwork on the way!!!!

Fork of https://github.com/litecoin-project/liteaddress.org for Nanotoken, please test it, I have tested it with many private keys but I still could use a seccond person testing it if the private keys are being imported correctly, also we could use a proper Nanotoken art for it, anyone? hehe.

As soon as its ready with nanotoken art I'll fork it properly on github ;)

PLEASE UPDATE YOUR WALLETS BEFORE BLOCK 110,000
THIS IS A MANDATORY UPDATE

This update was needed because of a bug in the previous release that made block halving not work.

INSTRUCTIONS (Windows):

Go to C:\Users\%USER%\AppData\Roaming\nanotoken (press the windows key + r and put in %appdata%\nanotoken)
Delete everything BUT KEEP THE WALLET.DAT
Extract the Nanotoken-3.1.0-Windows-qt.zip into a folder and run the EXE
Wait for the blockchain to download
Done!

There are to many V3.0.1.2 and V3.1.0.4 Nodes on the network causing issues.

I'm trying to find some coins to invest but now those that have already gone mainstream. This coins thread hasn't been updated lately , but are there still people on board?

Last I heard from Nanodude he was working on a wallet update and new logo, so it's still alive!

Yes :)
Try using 80.137.73.23 for now!
This ip won't be permanent, but we are working on getting a few node servers.
If anyone has any static-ip servers that they are willing to run a client as a node on just write me a pm or post it here :)

This is a mandatory update!

If you are one of them please update immediate to v3.3.0.0 (see post above)
Thank you :)

Is there somebody who has addnode.
I have 0 connections to the network.

I have tried a lot of addnodes i have found a bit everywhere, but nothing.
Still  0 connections to the network.
Is there somebody who has an idea to solve this problem?

Still not synchronizing with the network.
I have 1 connection.
But 0 blocks downloaded of the 97010.
604 days behind.
I have the new version V3.3.0.0
Can somebody help me with addnodes or so?

Download of the blocks has started.
I have 2 connections with the network at this moment.
But the download of the blocks goes very slowly.
Only 5182 blocks downloaded in three hours.
Is this normal?

Hey man,
this coin is very quiet (almost dead) atm.
I'm working on a redo of its purpose etc but it will take a bit.
I'll start my wallet so you get another node, although I see no reason to mine at the moment.

Cryptsy has locked nanotoken.
Is there another exchange for nanotoken at this moment?
