Title: Most wanted AltCoin features extended
Post by: denisps on December 20, 2013, 09:20:38 PM
I've seen some polls in the forums like this one https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=287458.0
But I remain unconvinced about the results. Not enough options, some options were one sided etc.

So here is another one. You can check as many options as you like.

I'd like to see all alt coins go to hell, so the PEOPLE can focus on bitcoins only. The big tests are yet to come...obviously.

People keep talking about the banks being afraid of bitcoins, no they're not.
They have seen this coming loooong before most of us, just look at what jpm just did.

I choose "Finite Total Number of Coins" because I believe that deflation is a more desirable property than inflation in a currency.

The block-chain is over 11 GiB and that's with the scripts limited to standard and very small market penetration. I don't see how we're going to sustain that kind of growth. And if that's just the beginning, then we need a better replacement ready and it better have all the features we need.

And regarding banks and government, I think they are not afraid of the CryptoCurrency, they know that FIAT Money are going for collapse and they want their own alternative CryptoCurrency to secure all the money they stall. I think some of them might even jump on board with bitcoin if they haven't already.
