can we cancel token transactions? I mean I transfer a token from my eth wallet to forkdelta but its more than 2hrs now and its still pending. Is there a ways to cancel this or I'll just wait until it is successful? TIA

You should wait until it is successful for you to see it in frkdelta or wait for it to fail for it to go back to your wallet since ethereum transactions are irreversible. It also applies to other crypto. Can I ask you to put your txid here, I might be able to tell why your transaction isn't confirmed yet. Most probably you used low amount in gas. Next time refer to ethgas station (https://ethgasstation.info/) for optimal fees(in gwei).

All crypto transactions are irreversible (if there is a coin that has reversible transaction kindly tell me).

And in your case once you sent the coins on forkdelta or any receiver, there will be no way for you to cancel it. Unless your transaction came from any exchange, they can cancel it on their own.

Most problems are through transfers to exchanges and the root cause lies on the exchange.

If you want to cancell it, why not? As long as it is not already done, and if you think you were not compatible on that transaction that you made, then go cancelled and find another good options that you might be compatible and contented. And all I can say about crypto business transactions, are more on patience and strategy.

There is no way to cancel such a transaction
All you have to do is wait until it delivers or wait until it says transfer fail
Naturally, Etherum network is congested lately and you need to use high gwei and gas fee to have faster delivery of tokens or eth to desired address

In blockchain transaction can't be cancel if not all this stolen funds would have not being successful, that is why you need to look very well before you jump in this space. except your transactions is out of gas and there is a warning in your transactions hash,,
automatically your transatcions will be cancelled by the network.

does not metamask have a feature to cancel token or eth transaction ?
I guess so far the feature can still run as long as the transaction is still unregistered, I do not mean having the / tx hash on the etherscan window yet

Not possible but there are different ways probably to solve the issue regarding etherdelta transactions, this is why it is very difficult exchange for newbies, transactions many times suck.

You can not do anything other than wait. It may be that transactions in blockchain ethereum are busy and make many transactions pending.

There is no way for you to cancel a transaction that is already in the blockchain. If there was then a lot of people would have been able to recover their stolen coins. The best you can do is to wait for the transaction to go through and if you know the recipient who you sent it to then you can ask them to send it back to you, otherwise the coins that you sent are gone.

I too long asked this question. And as I understand there is no, there is no turning back, only if you chose not the correct payment for gas, then the transaction will not pass

Based on my experience in sending or receiving ether balance, once you click the generate transaction and you click the send , there is no way you can cancel it but it has the probability of being succeed or error.

You can't cancel the transaction dude but it can be "out-gassed". If you wrong send eth/token to other address the best solution for this is asking the eth address to send back your eth/token and your gas to small you can try send another transaction with a higher gas price with the same nonce. you can't do that , better wait until your transaction failed and try again with gas/gwei higher.
FYI you can check recommendation gas/gwei to send token on ethgasstation search it on google.

If you have transferred Ethereum from MEW wallet then you can not cancel. Because blockchain is automatic. But, if blockchain can not confirm it because the gas cost is not sufficient then it will exit TX error, and your ETH will return.

Once it has left your ethereum wallet I don't think there is a way you can cancel it. The best you can do now is to wait for the transaction to complete itself or revert back to your wallet at worst

Waiting until you find the block for the transaction,you can't cancel or withdraw your shipment cause all transactions will be signed by the miner before forwarding the shipment.Same with other altcoin including with BTC as for any suspicious activity it can be input into swelling ;).

do you send time in your gas setting settings at the lowest price? I think gas prices greatly affect the speed in sending tokens. If already sent can not be canceled even though the notification is pending

Well, i do not think that the ETH transactions can be canceled because its transactions cannot be changed. It is irreversible.

Nope, you can't cancel the transactions, you have to wait until its finish, I've remember when I've tried to cancel my transactions what i did is I've send multiple transactions but nothing's happen I've just wasted my gas.

No, its like any transactions that transfered or already done sending. What you can do is too wait and always refresh the etherscan to see if your transaction was successful or not. Most often failing of transferring is due to gas or insufficient fees on the eth network to make a successful transaction.

yes you can. at myetherwallet if not mistake you can cancelled it. try youtube. i saw something about eth cancelled order.

You can try to re-broadcasting your transaction again with put the more fees to your second transaction. If your transaction is still getting pending and it means your balance is still in your wallet.
i suggest you replace it with a new transaction with the more fees to put your transaction on the high priority. I was doing it anytime when my transaction gets stuck.

sad to say, but its not, maybe the gas or the gwei on your transfer is too low, that's why it takes too long. you just have to wait for it to confirm, and next time if you want to transfer it fast,just increase the gas.

I also thought that it cannot be undone. I once need to send in a certain address but realized it was wrong, it said it was pending but i don't know how to cancel it, and I have not found the option to cancel though. You should wait! There are transactions that need more time than usual! This depends on the network, the amount of fees you pay for the transaction and the volume of the Smart Contract!

You cannot cancel a transaction. However, if it is an ethereum transaction, you can send a higher gas price, whichever transaction gets confirmed first will be considered a successful transaction. Make sure to check each detail when doing a transaction.
