Post by: rokshis on December 21, 2013, 12:52:17 PM
Some information about them:

http://miningheart.com/index.php?route=product/product&path=59&product_id=117&sort=pd.name&order=DESC

Products they are releasing:

a 2.5 TH/s Xtreme Miner (The Leopard) - 5800$
a 5 TH/s Xtreme Miner (The Tiger) - 10000$
a 7.5 TH/s Xtreme Miner (The Lion) - 14500$

If they are unable to do a website, do your really believe they are able to create a 7.5 TH Miner??

That ones most definitely a scam, there's been a few threads/reports about it. Lots of fishiness.

You should just get a Black Arrow Prospero or KnC Neptune.

Xtreme Miners is a fishing scam. People would need to be real fools to give money to a ghost website like that.

they do because they speculate.. if they wait to long they don't get the hardware before its not profitable anymore..

the alpha t-scrypt miners is the same.. no one knows if its real but alot people preordered

it would be awesome if xtreme miners is real because its in my country  ;)

Considering the amount of money we are talking when it comes to miners it's always going to be very appealing to scammers. You have to be extremely cautious. Take into consideration how many problems we've had from legitimate companies so I just wouldn't get involved with companies we know nothing about. Don't throw your money away, be wary.

They posted some "good and bad news" on their website:

Quote
January 18, 2014

We have some good and some bad news today.
Bad news - we are unfortunately expecting a delay in delivery times for our first batches of miners.
(Later batches will NOT be affected by this delay.)
No one likes to hear that delivery delays, we are aware of that. But even with the most detailed planning, experienced employees, and careful preparation for any problems, there are still things happening sometimes that you cannot prevent.
The production phase will take longer than expected, due to some unpredictable change of events.
Plus, we're still working on improving the power consumption and keeping it as continuous as possible.
We are truly sorry for any inconveniences this might cause, and are doing everything to speed up the process as much as possible.

Good news are, that we are happy to announce additional power of up to 0.2 TH for every model.
Prototype tests showed that we can expect up to 0.2 TH more for each model as average hashing speed.

We will keep all our customers updated as to what happens next and when new shipping dates will be confirmed.

= we think that we can still perpetuate this scam just a little longer.

I saw this website, didn't see real images of the miners and checked another website. Haven't bought, but most likely no ships have arrived to buyers, I checked the wallet that a forum member sent the 11k$ to, and they move the btc to wallets, and immediately move them again, and so on, and eventually you get to a wallet that I assume belongs to the "scammers" where you can see that the total btc amount they have recieved is around 1mil$ and some others with 500k$ or less. What I try to say is that they are constantly moving the btc's so they get "lost".

I wouldn't use them until they get a good name from independent people, looks to go to be true and you know what that probably means.

Where will the limit be for how much people will spend to try to get an edge on mining Bitcoins, with the POSSIBILITY (even if not probable) that something could happen o cause BTC to go to $1/BTC?
