If you hold patiently, you'll see higher prices than you bought at.

Look at historical Bitcoin price graphs, it might take one year for this happen and I believe Bitcoin will grow in popularity and merchant support

With btc, I'm 100% sure it will go back up.
Ltc, maybe it get up on wing of btc, but cant be sure.

Just hold & forget your BTCs in 2-3 years. Btc will be $5000 next 2 years :)

wait it out, i bought at the last bubble, almost at top (top was 266, i bought when it way 233) and it when to 70 i belive and then i stabilizied around 100 dollars for several months... So i lost almost 60% of my money, but i just waited and now im (and always been even with the recent crashes) in green numbers

Well i think after new year the btc will go up remember christmas is now. Btw same here bought the BTC when they was at the top and crash :) But i am keeping them :) Loosing money is not an option !

overstock.com announces it will be implementing bitcoin option for check out in second quarter of 2014. great progress for btc.

like it was said above, look at multiyear chart for bitcoin. Down cycles are a part of investment. still lots of room to grow.

Diversify into different coins that you think are sturdy, have developers actively working on the coin and promotion, etc. Don't put in more than you can afford to lose.

If the stress of watching red numbers bothers you, and you don't plan on selling any time soon, take a week off and dont look at the charts.

My Philosophy with bitcoin is that it could end up worth $100-000 - $1M per coin, but there is a real chance it will be worth zero in a years time.
I put in enough that I won't kick myself if 1BTC would let me buy a house a few years down the track, but little enough that it ends up worth zero I have no regrets.
Its definitely requires a long term approach - sit and hold or dollar cost average. Be totally prepared to lose the lot.

Remember, as with any investment, the money is never lost unless you sell it. Bitcoin is notorious for its price fluctuations and given time and community support it will go up again.

I think you just need patience and a strong nerve!

I've felt same thing on my own skin. I had lot's of LTC and watching charts going up and down made me sell them. Best thing is to just watch it 1 time in a month or less. Buy low, hold it !

Just wait.. like many people already said.

BTC has nothing to do but go up.  It doesn't look anywhere near the end of things, just be patient and don't stress about the ups and downs that happen now and then.  I have lots of faith in the long term of BTC.  An exchange just opened up in India for it too and I also read of a gas station using BTC's.  You'll definitely see growth in the future!

I don't see any other option than to hold. I can't get myself to cash out with this big a loss.

And anyways…. Bitcoin value will rise in 2014 and beyond so I consider my headache as a passing one. ;)
