Not at all. Theres no concern that one person has half a million coins to crush the market with if he has a bad day.   :)

I'm more worried that I0coins will eventually follow the same path :(

It probably will, but the difference is it will be market forces that does it.. there is less risk when their isnt one person holding 1/3 of all the coins in existence. I'm sure you can understand our fears about that.. right? ONE SINGLE PERSON could destroy all the value in your wallet, on a lark.. this is TOTALLY UNLIKE I0coin where it would take the community abandoning i0coin for it to collapse. Thats a huge difference in risk.

I0coin was created on a whim but on a whim with a purpose, which is tooo highlight things like how coins are more valuable and stable when the founder doesnt take 1/2million for himself.

Of course be wary.. i0coins dont add a lot to the equation, it does solve some problems with btc but not really enough to mean much.it doesnt have a gimic like namecoins.

but currency competition is a great thing.

Oldminer's an idiot.

How do I know? He mined for months, instead of modifying his fork to give a massive reward just for block 1.

Why don't I want ixcoins? I have no interest in a fork that was created by someone who clearly does NOT understand how what he forked actually works, and got himself his precious goal in a stupid way. I mean, really, this is the sort of stuff where if I see such stupidity in code at work, I print it out large-format and tape it up in the conference room to shame the author...

someone needs to make a client that can use all coins. now that would be a step in the right direction

And potentially confusing as hell, since the balances have to be kept completely separate. It's not actually possible to simply, say, spend your I0coins to a Bitcoin address: the transactions that gave you the I0coins don't exist in the Bitcoin block chain.

Just use the same format with tabs as the windows of the separate clients.

Haha wow, then it’s 3x worse with Bitcoin, as Satoshi is rumored to have 1.5 million BTC. But yeah, Ixcoin is way worse in this regard! >:(

Alright, it actually might be worse, as there are >3x more Bitcoins than Ixcoins, but still.

LMFAO

This is hilarious coming from the guy who is heavily invested into Ixcoins. Did I lose anything while selling my 12 hours worth of mining for 32 btc? NO.

So why would I be sour about making a profit?

Unlike your sourness of losing nearly 75%-85% of your networth on Dixcoins.

Now what's even more funny is Thomas is copying the difficulty adjustment code straight out of Solidcoin's release.

Now that's some funny shit!

HAHAHA!

Wait, really?  So Ixcoin adjust difficulty on a 12hr cycle now along with the 400% down/10% up limiters?

Yup. What a bunch of bullshit. All Thomas knows how to do is to copy other people's shit.

They are digging, because merged mining with BTC is possible. So it is a free gain, why not

They will be getting a code upgrade along with all the merged mined coins (except maybe namecoin, I am not sure how different namecoin is internally from bitcoin)antime they are merged mined at bitparking and can be traded at Vircurex so they are chugging along just fine, one of the highest difficulty merged mined coins in fact.
