Title: Dogeminer.cc seems to be a ponzi scam
Post by: Cashi on May 14, 2018, 09:33:55 PM
Today I read about dogeminer.cc and it is 100% a ponzi scam. High profits, MLM and no team so it's a clear scam site.
Be aware, don't invest money there, you'll be happy to stay away.

It is a scam! https://dogeminer.cc/

There are much more better opportunities to make money. (almost every opportunity is better as a ponzi scam :))

Update: please don't invest, it doesen't matter if it "pays". This is exactly how ponzis work: pay first investors, these first investors tell about how great this site is and advertise for new participants, they join, invest own money and finally the site exit-scams (if enough money is collected by the owners).

There are a lot of these common "level" mining games. See: bitcoin stacks (iirc that was the name), ore-miner, etc.

It's a common trope and most people who have been around will know instantly that these sites are ponzis. Really, only new users to Bitcoin would fall for them.

If you ever see a site with unrealistic returns (i.e. the crazy 1800% monthly profit quote on the site) then it's most likely a fraud.

There are actually a few that's still actively being promoted by people on youtube all the time, presumably either by people trying to gain referrals or just shills of the site. No way you were going to get these kind of returns.

These types of cloud mining sites don't mine anything, have no proof that they are mining, and only are using cloud mining as a cover story to their ponzi scheme.

Or more likely, they are just going to take your money and not even bother giving early investors some money. You should never trust random strangers over the internet with money without sufficient reputation, period. Let alone someone promising you such unrealistic returns.

-snip-
They'll pay out minor amounts until some actual money starts flowing in. Once we reach the point where the site is at a profit of >1BTC (estimated) then they'll probably cash out and run with the money.

Bro I started for only 300 doge and I almost have 1000+ doge from this site, Now I have profit of more than 1000+
Just request another withdraw when it credited to my account I will show you proof

That's literally how a ponzi scheme operates.

Based on the "investment plans" that they are offering alone it's safe to say that they are 100% ponzi scheme/scam. If you had received your withdrawals then it simply means that they are paying out early investors that invests small amounts of money selectively.

It doesn't mean that they are any more trustworthy, or that their business model is sustainable. There has been countless other sites that offer similarly structured "plans" to lure investors in, and none of them have been legit.

1800% per Year not Monthly

And dogeminer.cc payed

1800% per Year not Monthly

And dogeminer.cc payed
And you seriously believe that they have paid out $4.6 million in 80 days? Let's not forget that 5% daily is also equivalent to 1.05^365 every year = 54211841x annually. Is multiplying someone's deposits by 54 million annually sustainable? Alright. Let's not think about long-term, then. Consider monthly: 1.05^30 = 4.32x. You're telling me you believe:
a) a minimum of 1 million dollars worth of doge was deposited into this site
b) the site is willing to pay over 20 million dollars worth of doge next month, and then 85 million the following

Title: Re: Dogeminer.cc seems to be a ponzi scam
Post by: actmyname on June 04, 2018, 09:34:44 PM
Bro, I think your calculation is wrong. [...] (500 K) per month
Then clearly you have not read what I have written.

5% profit a day, re-invested after each day means 1.05^30 = 4320% profit every month, equivalent to 4.32x. They should be able to support this since there does not appear to be a limit on the deposits. And even so, we can consider the entire space of investors as a single unit that continually reinvests their profits.

You believe b), then? That the site is willing to pay 20 million dollars over the next month?

I do hope that you realize the 54000000x annual figure is clearly unsustainable.

The project stably pays.
I increase capacity, swung with 1000 dogs. Of course you can talk a lot, but while some argue - others earn.
Even in the case of a project scam, the losses will be only 300 rubles.

So you're okay with allowing others to steal money, right?

That's what you're doing when you "invest" in these ponzi schemes. You help the scammer build up their reputation and invite bigger investors to their doom. By the time the ponzi operator pulls out they've already taken at least 1000x what you've lost.

Bro, I think your calculation is wrong. If minimum of 1 million dollars worth of doge was deposited into this site. they are giving 5% profit of your investments. so (1000000/100)*5 = 50000 $ per day, 50000*30 = 1500000 $ (1.5 M) per month. which is not the profit because all the mining contracts last for 30 days so we need invest again from the site and profit will be 1500000 - 1000000 = 500000 $ (500 K) per month.

My contract is finished but i didn't receive my doge!! 5000doge

Ergo, anybody even slightly advancing Dogeminer.cc as anything but a scam is 100 useless to society and should exit the gene pool ASAP before them hurt somebody and, moreover, procreate, creating more of their kind.

You started with 300 Doge, in  80 days you made 1000+ doge.
Now it is a lie , because every month you need to renew the mining contract so you are earning only 120 Doge in a month.
so in 3 month you will earn only 120*3 =360 Doge only (not 1000+)

Now 360 doge price in just above $1, so buddy you are giving certificate for just $1, very cheap.

My suggestion is to stay away and don't invest. It's not possible to generate such profits from mining.

This is exactly how ponzis work: pay first investors, these first investors tell about how great this site is and advertise for new participants, they join, invest own money and finally the site exit-scams (if enough money is collected by the owners). Almost every time this is combined with a MLM-system (multi-level-marketing-system), where the person who advertises this project gets a part of the investment from new members he pushed into this, so it's very profitable for him to advertise and he is biased.
