Title: Sapphire 5830 BIOS fan profile mod Post by: chungenhung on August 19, 2011, 08:30:34 PM My sapphire 5830 reaches 90C when overclocked.
The auto fan speed don't really speed up the fan until it reaches 85C. The card would run at 90C and the fan speed is still sitting at less than 50%. Is there a way to BIOS mod the fan profile? like telling it to kick up the fan to 80% when it reaches 80C? I know you could use afterburner and set the custom fan speed profiles, but I would rather it be in the BIOS. So when I can freely more the card to another system if needed to. |
