I don't think so - the blocks are generated every 5 minutes. Well, I can lower it to 1 minute and give reward every 60 blocks (or 120 blocks after 5000th block)

DMD clone with less coins. DMD meets BitBar. But why choose SWAG as the name? When I hear SWAG I think cheap booze. For something that is supposed to have value one day shouldn't the name also reflect value?

Well, about name: there are Dogecoins and they have value, so why not SWAG? Also, this is not DMD clone, it'll be based on fehcoin.

I think a maximum of 1 000 000 SWAG would be much better than only 10 000 SWAG.

Well, I was going for max of 1 SWAG and mining 0.000001 per block.

What's the point of mining the next 11 blocks after a pay block is found? tx fees aren't going to make it worth it unless they are sky high. For the best payout a miner would just switch to an alt coin for 55 min while the remainder of the network finds the dud blocks.

1 Coin every x blocks sucks, bigger hashrate pools will only target the blocks with rewards, smaller hashrate pools will only get the 0 reward blocks

Having a pool at launch is a bad idea

And i'll tell you why.

The thing will 50% the network instantly. There'll be forks on launch. You do not want that.

Especially on release, you need the decentralization that solo miners bring.

Agree with Boxman90, pool at launch only increases the risk to have a fork as it's likely that one pool will be over 50% of the total hashing power.
Also, I would rework the total numbers a little bit, 10k coins might attract a few noobs but it doesn't change anything. Look at bitcoin with 21 millions and we are talking about changing the unit to mBTC. A coin valued 0.001 BTC when you can mine 1 a day is not worth more than another valued 0.00001 if you can mine hundred times more

• Periodical, i.e exactly 59 block without reward followed by 1 block with 1 coin
• Or random-based, i.e. one block of 60 will have reward on the average?

In first case this coin will be doomed. Sooner or later somebody will implement "merged" mining, enabling enyone to mine any other litecoin-based coin, periodically switching to SwagCoin for finding valuable block.

A Coinlimit of 10000 sucks imho .... Its not practical to deal with 0.000000001 Coins ...

I'll give it a go on launch day.   I don't know if it is even possible to get one coin with half a dozen machines if there is only 10,000 total.  The only way a pool will work at launch is if there is a few pools and they are all under 50% by a lot.

Not the moon but "Monat" - moon is made by krauts. The moon project was also successfull thank to jerries, Wernher von Braun (and half of CIA) was an ardent Sturmbanführer SS.
