What's the difference between the two? Ain't new bounties also equal to new altcoins since these new bounties do bounty campaigns to gain promotion and to help their new altcoin into listing on exchange sites. Maybe some bounties, reward old altcoins that are currently on exchanges but what's the point?

if i'm getting the wrong idea here please let me know. Thanks.

I think they different and can not be compared. Bounty is program to make new altcoin more famous or we can say it advertising.

Sorry If I am wrong.

Its dificult to say as bounties are different and ICO es are diffirent, so sometimes alts are good sometimes ICO es for example ETH ICO or new Alt Onion we all must choose ourself.

may be OP is little uncertain regarding the question. However what I could get is whether it is good to invest in an ICO when tokens are yet to hit the markets or some tokens which are new and have already hit the markets.

In both the cases, its the underlying strength of the project that determines the price appreciation. A shit coin still remains a shit coin irrespective of how many millions you burn for its marekting !  ::)

So I don't know exactly what the connection is.
Because the bounty thread is just a publicity stunt.

Recently, such a trend that the price at the exit after ICO on the exchange falls and sometimes very much! In order not to risk when investing at the stage of ICO and for a long time not to freeze your capital is to buy coins after ICO, but only those that quickly raised capital, and with a good road map!
I used to invest in ICO on pre-sale with good bonuses up to 55%, but you have to wait too long!

Newly released altcoins are much better, because you can see the real price after listing on exchanges and also see like the devs perform the project

:P it is better to look for good projects that have already been listed, but keep much lower than the price of ICO. suppose you can go to the site icodrops.com (not advertising) and there in the "statistics" tab to find at what price from the ICO the token is traded. and there choose a tool for investment.

bounty is a super powerful tool for earning. The main thing is to be able to participate in many projects!

I think it is better to invest in new altcoins that have recently appeared on the exchange IDEX, for example the token SFU.

I think it's better to invest in ICO because it is more advertised and more assembled by investors

I think its better to choose a new release alt, because when the new alt just been release, bounty hunter usually sell their coins ASAP, then the price of coins will fall, and a good developer will try to raise coin price, but should really choose which coins who have a good future

what do you mean about new bounties? maybe that you mean is tokens from new ICOs, in my opinion coins or tokens is not a problem in investment options, the most important is the project behind it, so it depends on the potential of tokens or coins project

Bounties? It is better to say new ICO's rather than bounty campaigns if we are talking about investing some money or cryptocurrency into it, bounties are from ICO's to promote their project for the upcoming token sale if you are willing to wait for a couple of months then go for ICO's they impose risks such as failures and scams as you cannot predict the real outcome of the sale and the developments, you should go to the newly released tokens/altcoins, they are already released on the exchanges which you can find some cheap deals cause they dump commonly on the exchanges, both needed some extensive research and rates so you need to be very careful.

personally I prefer to buy a new altcoin in the release on the exchange, because currently the average ICO coin that new release will experience a very large dump and even more than half the price of ICO.

I think that the best option will now be investing in new coins. As new promising projects give you the opportunity to earn very good money. Only ICO

If you only recently learned about the existence of ICO, then this post is for you! I want to recommend you a reliable and perspective project, which I use. The project Vireo will make you a good impression and motivate to use ICO constantly! Check it!

If you have some extra funds i suggest just load it to exchange and wait for good quality ico project to list there and then set a buy order way down below the ico price, if you are lucky your order will be filled soon, as there is high chance bounty dumpers will dump their tokens after trading on exchanges start, when your order gets filled just stay patient for few weeks and the price will easily reach around ico price where you can sell for profit.

For one who understands that High Risks reaps High rewards, will settle for ICOs they are Relatively known, very new, and few would be brave enough to venture in them for the risk of failure,But they are the cheapest alternative available  and with a good project, an ICO can develop and grow into an amazing project not to mention the fact that they are cheap, newly released altcoins are slightly expensive but good ones are just as valuable. ICOs you better chances of success,

You should give priority to both new alts and new ICO projects because in these you can able to make the money out of it. If you find any new coin on the exchange you should blindly invest upon the price or volume. Because with in some days you can see the coin goes bigger or completely break out from the market, so finally you need to check the coin for a week and if you see the gradual growth and fluctuation every day then it is good one to invest.

As like that ICO projects comes like dumpyard but very few projects are really getting into perfect place with the content idea to shine in the crypto market. Everyone can make the project but idea which is new and attractive all rock the crypto market. Nowdays exchanges  with the various integration and cryto marketplace projects are getting success mate. Choose one among them.

Hi, everybody. I think that there is no big difference between them. Both investment areas are equally dangerous. First of all ,if you decide that you want to invest your money, you need to carefully choose the projects. To familiarize myself with the details . Be attentive to the conditions . Learn what the team does. Similarly, with altkoins

In my opinion, I would love to engage in coins from ICOs. My reason being thàt, with ICOs people actually buy the coins, I mean people do invest so they try to always keep the market in good shape but it's doesn't always happen that way. But with coins givem away for free (or through any means you got them), since the traders didn't invest, then anything can happen to it at anytime

Well. As a beginner level, I prefer ICO rather than Bounty. I think trade always should be tended to gather some knowledge also, not only profit. So in the ICO programme, you will be able to learn something. So I prefer ICO rather then bounty.

Every investment process there is a degree of risk and being new altcoins or ICO this system is no different, what we must do is to plan, study, create strategies for later there is no kind of embarrassment. Here in the forum there are several related topics and yet i will be neutral to just show that a neither choice is better or worse but that both should be studied.

I think you need to invest in the ICO! Yes, it is really risky like any investment, but the investment in the ICO can bring you big profits. Bounty campaign will never give you such a profit that can give you an investment in the ICO.

I think it's better to invest in ICO because it is more advertised and more assembled by investors
More advertised and more assembled shouldn’t be the reason to participate in ICO’s. Soon as we all have heard, google, facebook, youtube and other social networking sites and medias are going to ban the crypto and other related advertisement. Therefore, in future the ICO’s surely wouldn’t be more advertised and the money raised by the ICO’s will drop highly. It’s better to invest in well established projects rather than gambling on an ICO.

I would also prefer going with the newly released altcoins. There are many potential altcoins in the market nowadays that have advanced technology, real world application and high utility but hold low market cap value. This means that it has more scope to grow in the market. ICO’s on the other hand are sort of a gamble in crypto world. Some show significant growth in mean time, some fall below their initial offering price and some are just scams or ponzi schemes. Therefore, better to go with well established altcoins rather than new ICO’s.

Newly released altcoins with the good concept are good because after coming out of ICO  new coin always drop in price in the start so buying in start can give more profit when it goes up again after some time.
