I am curious what you guys think of this and what will it mean for bitcoin? Think about when they established the Fed. At the same time they made private possession of gold coins illegal. I see a potential historical parity coming up if we don't get both sides on this. We can turn it into a non issue. So if you're a blue or a red in a reverse state, choke up your pride and write your representatives and let them know how important this issue is to you!

I believe we can separate the establishment of any given political party from it's constituents on their views. Most political parties are content (as an entity) to maintain the status quo, while merely giving themselves a slight leg up. It's not a race if it's not "neck-n-neck" all the time right? Though, I can say, my exposure to people who ARE liberal is that they are very authoritarian, and want everyone to ride bikes made from hemp and cardboard, while eating only organic foods and opposing GMOs while half the world starves because GMOs are the only way to get anything to grow in a wasteland. .. The idea of a pro-obama super pac accepting bitcoin to promote bitcoin candidates should raise a brow to everyone. Big government and an anxious regulatory state is the biggest threat to bitcoin.
