Title: New sheriff in town @ BTCGUILD
Post by: iglasses on December 24, 2013, 04:35:48 AM
Can this be right?  I haven't been mining that long so forgive me if this ignorant but about ten minutes ago a new ID popped up in the 'blocks found' column on BTCGUILD rankings page...

67117   2,176
2,176 blocks found by a single user or is that a team?

That's ASICMINER.  They found a ton of blocks on BTC Guild before they went solo.  Looks like they had hardware failover (Hall of Fame only shows users active in the last hour), or perhaps some equipment was sold that defaulted to their BTC Guild account.
