Title: Pooler's CPUMINER (minerd.exe) 64 bit and Windows 8.1 Post by: ganth on December 24, 2013, 07:18:42 AM Anyone successfully running minerd.exe on Windows 8.1 and Windows Server 2012 R2 operating systems? Since I upgraded my OS's I can no longer run minerd.exe. I've tried compatibility mode and various tweaks with no success. I receive no errors to screen or event logs. Machines just shutdown in a minute or two like the power plug was pulled. If I boot off an image with Windows 7 it runs fine.

I checked it out but it appears it only supports SHA256/Bitcoin mining and not alternate Scrypt based currencies where my interest lies. |
