Title: cryptsy lagging?
Post by: Exp on December 24, 2013, 09:59:42 AM
Anyone else having problems with the site?
Can't use it at all as nothing is updating, so slow to load.. problem after problem

Maybe its just me?

Yea, I'm getting some heavy lag also.

I doubt it's just the number of users this time, maybe they're upgrading something and it's consuming some of the system resources at the moment.

Lagging is an understatement.  Their shit is just plain slow as ballz.  Sometimes, when I visit their home page, I just wanna punch Vern in the face.

NET/BTC opened tonight?  Really, Vern, decided add a brand new market when you already can't handle the traffic you have?

I cancelled a 250,000DOGE sell order over 2 hours ago, balance is still not updated, haven't got my coins back yet.  This has happened before but never has taken this long.

lol to comment above

And yes, it is lagging, and it has just given me another double spend. But before that it did not refund my cancelled cryptsy points

So now I have paid back my double spend and find it impossible to get the form to load to transfer my coins out.

Than again, did it really give me a double spend? Or is this a ploy to rake some cash back?

It's getting worse.

I am actually shocked that no one has thrown together a really simple exchange that uses minimal resources and
sticks to a barebones and basic backend. We just want a site that works.. We have nothing to trade on that
is fast and reliable.

They could take pretty much everyone from all the other sites in less than a week.
We just need a site that works. Seems crazy that no one wants to make 0.5% of millions a day by
just making a secure exchange that does the absolute minimum without bells and whistles.

Trades are not operating, when cancel is made my coins disappear and there is just 0 in my balances.

Unbelievable Cryptsy.
Why they donīt close the registration for new members. They canīt handle the actual number of members. Why they let more in?
Itīs lagging as shit. Would be a first stept to close the registration. What you think ?

I've been saying this since the massive influx. They have a serious lack of proper management issue.

Dont cancel your orders! you will either have to wait all day or put in a support ticket, what a joke.

<@CryptoBob> yep - general speed / lag issues at the mo, it's good for testing error handling though

^ unfucking believable! And I never swear.

I saw around 50k doge sell for .000000001 on the ticker.  that was pretty cool

i guess lesson of the day:  dont put in "funny" orders when cryptsy is like 3 hours behind, because it also f*cks up and skips all the orders in between you and your sell/buy price
