Quick question. Do you plan on adding altcoin pairs to your site?
I am a fan of leveraged trading, but am interested in smaller cap coins...

If you could add some unique pairs to your exchange, you could probably pin down a large section of the market... :)

Also, putting some more funds into advertising might be a good idea, because I didn't even know this exchange existed until I stumbled across it recently!

Yes, we plan to add altcoin pairs in the future. For now we focus on increasing the volume on our BTC/USD market, to make trading more and more convenient for our users.

Where do you think you would have found us earlier if we had put money in advertising? We actually tried a few things but we were never happy with the results.

Well, this forum is a great spot to start. Loads of places do signature campaigns, and get a lot of high ranking users on the forum to wear their advertisement.

Other crypto places could be steemit. Great project, and you can pay others to republish your article to huge user groups.
I've seen exchanges do small (could be less than the minimum withdrawal), giveaways. Nothing gets people faster than a free lunch.

Getting listed on coinmarketcap as an exchange, or on cryptocompare.

(Not really being fully coherent here, just kind of thinking out loud. Sorry.  ;) )

I'd stay away from CPC sites, or faucet ads. Not sure if those actually get people to show up or not.

One last thing I can think of would be a referral system. If you can get other people to do your marketing for you for a percentage, you save on out of pocket costs...

I just found you in a post on Steemit.
Try to post a few articles there and plan to get a few altcoins going for leveraged trading.
Millions of cryptotraders would love to trade altcoins with leverage.
Such a possibility would greatly increase your customer base.

I must say that create account on 1Fox.com is very easy and fast, it will take just a minute and after you create your deposit address all you need is to send funds to your account and you can start trading. Site is just like it should be, very transparent and fast loading with all info which you may need.

Regarding advertising, this forum is great place for that and it is good you start signature campaign here, after first 2 weeks depending on the results the good thing would be increase the number of participants to more then 15, this would certainly improve visibility of 1Fox on the forum.

With today's update we implemented the dead man switch, which is a feature that can turn of trading bots when they lose the connection to our servers. Apart from that, the API has been further improved upon.
We also added a feature that estimates the profit of a position depending on the open orders in the order book, if it was closed with a market order.

It sounds intriguing, and I am eager to give it a try, have not noticed it's existence before, was already looking for a crypto exchange with leverage, did 1 Fox an ICO or did they just start it without an ICO? Normally bounties promote ICOs but this one seems already operational?

1Fox is indeed a new platform for crypto leveraged trading. Their company (1Pool Ltd.) previously host the BTC/USD pair on their first site, 1Broker, which is a platform to trade mostly forex, stocks, and commodities with Bitcoin (instead of cryptocurrency). They're expanding their service by launching 1Fox a few months ago, focuses on leveraged trading for cryptocurrency pair. There was never any ICO related to both platforms.

Do you think it will struggle with the giants of the market?

One distinctive feature in 1Fox is their social trading feature where you can share your trades, look, comment, and even copy others trade. The copy trade feature is not available yet on 1Fox though, but it's already on 1Broker. The social trade feature is what made 1Broker popular back then, so I'm sure 1Fox could gain a fair share of the crypto leveraged trading market in the future.

That is a cool feature but not something new, etoro has something similiar even though they do mostly stocks and other assets. Then you have Covesting which focusses on that part too. So I wonder where are the differentiators. By the way, Cobinhood just launched margin trading too

We are currently standing at 6700$ Bitcoin price and have a volume of 220 BTC trade on 1Fox in the last 24 hours.

I am glad that business is going well for you, 220 BTC in 24 hours is nice volume. I also notice that your run some advertising campaign with some ad crypto networks and I hope the results will be better then on signature campaign. If price of BTC is go up I bet your results will be even better, high price is something that attract people to crypto. Smart people know that profits can always be realized, the present time is no exception ;)

Funds are apparently locked. I would guess that SEC ruling affects 1Broker only, but that by CFTC could be affecting 1Fox too.
