If this is already implemented somewhere please post the link. If this is something that would benefit from a bounty, please suggest so.

"Cold storage spending" keeps private keys in RAM only.

They might allow bitcoin apps, but they aren't quite as hardy as iphones. my iphone is 2 1/2 years old and looks the same as the day I bought it.
