The question is roaming in my mind just after hearing that FB is going to explore blockchain and might launch their very own crypto. Like Facebook, is twitter thinking on the same way?? What do you think??I hope Twitter to be also in the industry that may take the business in another level.

I can't think of any practical reasons for twitter to engage in the talks about the blockchain tech. There simply isn't any ideal application of the tech in their platform not unless they try to do something big and something more interesting in the future. If they're just looking to create their own crypto like Facebook, I wonder whether people would really buy into those. Maybe they're better off being social media giants and stay as is.

I think these tech giants are sort of looking for the guinea pig - the ones that will forge the way ahead of them. If Facebook makes a headway, they'll most certainly follow suit if they don't want to be left behind.

I don't know actually because on the one hand Twitter hasn't ever said anything about their interest in any of crypto technologies but on the other hand we all have seen major breaks in their security in the recent times and I don't think that they're happy about it. Probably they're looking for some new solution and in that case blockchain is the best option they can get. Problem is that blockchain can be really slow if working with such a big amount of data and they understand it. So... shall see.

Twitter will take the same step as facebook, if facebook succeeded in creating its own cryptocurrency and using blockchain technology. This is the same when facebook prohibits cryptocurrency ads and steps followed by twitter. facebook going to introduce its own crypto currency, basically thats not officially told by a representative by facebook. facebook recently banned ads related to ico's and crypto. they indirectly filter the bad things from block chain tech, most ico's scam thats why.  twitter i do not think comes to block chain. its a different.

I don't know why would they make their own crypto unless they're not making any profits which is unlikely. Just because they banned some ads doesn't always mean they'll surely make their own crypto. I think it's natural that facebook interested in blockchain and cryptocurrency, not separated from the word "money" where there is money spinning and gives great results, the businessmen must be interested and not like fb and others, they must learn and want to increase their income . IMO, this Facebook's crypto is just a PR stunt or some smokescreen, there's no way people would use it over existing coins, at if it will be created, it will very likely just be some sort of centralized payment system tied to Facebook's platform. Maybe it will be used to tip other users, buy some premium features or something else. So, Twitter might actually also do something like that, or at least announce that they are into blockchain, because it's just a trendy thing to do now, but it's too early to tell whether something good will come out of it.

I don't think there is a particular use of the token if they indeed want to create their own. Unless they are now going to require a token fee per tweet lol but why not. If you look at the current market trends and the way the businesses behave in the recent history, I think there will be a time in the near future where the businesses can not refuse to embrace the blockchain as a major technology(or a concept) and ICOs to fulfill the funding requirement of their projects. Yes, I have read the article which's related to Facebook that they will explore the blockchain themselves which's likely to launch their own crypto. However to date, I've not received the news from the Twitter side that they will follow Facebook's footsteps. But to foster a level of enthusiasm, adoption, and use of cryptocurrency in the wider community I strongly support these two social platforms to enliven the world of crypto.

I don't think Twitter will bring their own crypto coin. Maybe they will support and promote cryptocurrencies. And, I am not sure facebook coin will launch or not. i dont know about it but i believet that big company like twitter facebook, yahoo, google is start to learn about blockchain and bitcoin, they have their own research and development team in bitcoin and blockchain, so if they get the big chances they will launch their own blockchain and cryptocurrency

twitter actually allowing blockchain and crypto related content less stricker than facebook but that was before because nowadays twitter is now also becoming strict in thier policy regarding crypto related stuff's  . i was a victim not once not twice but for fourth times my account was banned because they detected my as a spammer even though i did not make a lot of tweets and re tweets  .
