Title: Bitcoin wallet
Post by: janpec1000 on December 25, 2013, 02:24:06 PM
Hello,

I have had sent bitcoin yesterday from blockchain to Multibit wallet and it is not showed up yet. I have checked http://blockexplorer.com/ and it does not show any pending transaction there either. Could there be  anything else going wrong?

Are you sure you got the correct addresses?

Also did you make sure to include a transaction fee - if not it could take longer.

As above, did you send to the right address? Did you send to the public address?

I have used adress under "Request" tab in Multibit wallet. There is no other adress so that should be correct. There is one thing however , i have not created any new adress since i started Multibit wallet, so i have just used default one that was created. I dont have any labels words used for it, could that create any problem, even though that default adress has been given?

Anothing thing is what should be typed in "Ammount" tab? Its blank.

There is likely nothing wrong @Janpec1000 however verify if you're writing your Bitcoin address correctly.

I guess this happens once in a while, I always check the 1st and last letter of the address.

There are many things that could explain what you are experiencing.

It really isn't possible to know what happened without more information.

What MultiBit address did you send the bitcoins to?

What blockchain.info address had you received those bitcoins at?

What does blockchain.info say the transactionID is?

@Guerrilla it's quietly interesting however that's usually done automatically.
