If only I knew.....

I thing holding is a good idea, or day trading if you're open to a fair amount of risk/reward.

hold it like your life depends on it.

no matter how many dollars are offered for it, hold it!

plan to spend it ( not all in one place  :D ) in the future.

You hodl it. Some people might do day trading with alt-coins, but that's really risky.

the only thing somebody with a total of 800 mBTC should do is - buy more. you will thank me in 2016. get at least 2100, it is still very cheap.

Don't actively trade with more than ~20% of your coins.  To take advantage of bitcoin you *must* be invested when it does a 10X moon rocket.  These moon rockets are not predictable.

At least get enough that you can be a left-sider.

X.yyyyyyyy = left sider
0.yyyyyyyy = right sider

litecoin? That was just $17 bucks a couple of days ago. I hardly think it is a good investment at $24 right now.

Buy until you have 2.1 bitcoins, then put those in cold storage so you own one out of 10 million bitcoins that will ever exist.

Everyone should do this.
Buy and hold.

In the end only 0.0001% are traded and the price will skyrocket. The first that will dump, wins big time, the others can wait another 10 years.

Buy and hold is not the solution -> active trades for goods and web services helps to stabilize bitcoin.

I envy your rich ass, but that's not what I said.

See, that's why mBTC is a bad notion. Most folk don't get it, reading comprehension lacking. We need something simpler.

Oh nice, I like that. Not super relevant right now, but in a year or two...

How much simpler than metric can it really get? Only other thing I can think of is to come up with a cute name. Or just stick to full coins.

I mean BTC and mBTC are hard for people to distiniguish, they have 75% overlap. And in the future, with uBTC, things would get really ugly. For now, I think most sense would be to price everything in satoshis. So 0.8 BTC = 800 mBTC (bad) = 80 ms = 80,000 ks = 80,000,000 s.

That's the story of Bitcoin.

Those of us who didn't buy in until the price reached double digits dreamed of having been around for the days when bitcoins cost pennies and pizzas cost 1000s of bitcoins.

More recent Bitcoin noobs who saw bitcoins close in on the price of ounces of gold drool at the thought of $15/btc only a year ago.

In a year or two when coins sell for 5 figures, anything less than a grand a coin will seen like such a bargain.

On and on it goes, at least until the s-curve bends down again after the vertical phase as it approaches saturation.

Don't you mean 80 Ms (Mega satoshis) instead of 80 ms (milli satoshis)?  ;)
