BTC and CAT. Doge is a gimmick, but CAT is actually interesting in that it's a pure Scrypt version of Bitcoin -- something that has never been done in the history of alt coins (that I know of anyway). Many people have requested it, but only Catcoin has delivered a pure Bitcoin alt with nothing but SHA256->Scrypt changed. It stands out as a kind of a pure-vanilla Android against a backdrop of hybrids. I just wish it were released under a more serious pretense.

I wouldn't write off the DOGs so easily - very international presense in the social networks and amazing sense of humor appeal!  ::)

Doge is based on a very specific meme. Cats are basically the internet's spirit animal. A meme based coin that is general enough to appeal to lolcat lovers, cat lovers, youtube cat lovers..

Has to be CAT for me. It's only been here 3 days but the support for it so far for it has rocketed. To Mars, as they say.

Don't hold. Sell and buy

BTC is just an asset in your portfolio

I think doge wont get much higher than it already is, its too easy to mine + it was premined heavily, bitcoins are a stable investment they will go up but i dont think they will skyrocket to 1.5k or so, maybe 900$ in 3-4 months. Cat will be a risky investment for such a long period, it needs better promotion and listing on cryptsy or similar sites. It has great potential because there wont be millions of catcoins on the market, so i think if you set timeline to 2 months instead of 6 i would say catcoins are your best shot but in 6 months who knows what will happen...

how long do you want to hold each for?  2 out of 3 of these are good choices.

there's no point to discussing holding a currency unless we know what exit strategy you're planning for.  treat the coins like you would any other investment:  don't overcapitalise, don't overextend on a weak position, and know when to get the hell out.

Do you know what pump and dump means? Cat Coin wasn't premined. There's no coins to "dump".

I'd bet 1 BTC - both CATs and DOGE will be there in 6 months and will have outperformed BTC!

current rates are DOGE/BTC = 0.0000008 (Cryptcy) and CAT/BTC ~ 0.001 (forum)

highest counter please?

Does the CoinedUP listing give CATs the reason to fight back on that Poll? ;)

Cats have an unfair advantage - they have a "bit" bigger value due to low coin emission.
