Google is the best way to search the forum, just add site:bitcointalk.org to the end of the search. Searching isn't so much a problem as just keeping tabs on the volume of topics I will lend focus to. I'm familiar with the various features of the board but for some reason I think there has to be a better way (that is external of the board). I've managed so far.
