The groupbuy will close on the 4th and that is when the U1/S1 will be ordered. After groupbuy 1 I will start to have units on hand but the cost of on hand units will be marginally higher.

The units will ship to me on the 5th once the group buy has closed. Once they arrive i will ship them out. Escrow right now no. All international shipping is via express. If you live in Australia then you should start to receive them on the 7th or 8th.

Why would people want to buy a S1 0.01BTC more expensive? Unless they won't get any sort of customs payment?

Because usually for us here it is much cheaper than international shipping.

I can't really compete with Sushi as he get the units cheaper then i do. If i was able to sell 100 S1 a week i would be able to offer a cheaper price.

Update: The tracking says that the package is still stuck in China. I have contacted UPS and Bitmain and the issue should be resolved. Hopefully it moves tomorrow.

What did UPS say when you contacted them?

They said that they can't give me any information. The sender needs to contact UPS in their country.

Any clarification from Bitmain about the delay or ETA?  (they've been 'scanning' this now for 4 days.... how much more scanning is needed?)

I had a buyer who had the same issue when it was shipped to Malaysia.
Was in the "scanning" mode in the UPS warehouse for a week before it was delivered the next Monday...
crazy.

It has actually been scanning for 6 days but two have been the weekend. I have contacted Bitmain for an update and have yet to get a response. Although next time they should really choose a better shipping provider.

Beastly must have stepped on a black cat or something because all of the other Bitmain threads here have reported prompt deliveries.

There actually was a GB for U1 sticks (by Elasticband https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=395506.0 (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=395506.0)) that got bogged down with a delay and ended up refunding, probably the 'silly season syndrome', rather than the 'black cat effect'.... too early to cheer  ('touch wood').... wait until those sticks are happily hashing away.....

Boxes are in Singapore and are scheduled to turn up on Monday.

Mine have been traveling for over a week. Aust Post are not the quickest! Hopefully will arrive on Tuesday after the holiday.

I am not currently home right now as I am on holidays. So I am waiting until I get back to draw the raffle. It will include everyone up to the point that the raffle is drawn.

For the Antminer U1's suggest to check the 2 allen screws holding the heatsink to the PCB, as some of them are quite loose.  Measuring the temp of the ASIC and the heatsink produces a range of results. 
All of these are set to antminer:clock=x0981, which should hash at about 2 GH/sec.  Under similar cooling conditions, measuring with an IR thermometer the ASIC temps are  45C, 44.8, 47.6, 44.7, 48.3, 48.2, 45.7, 48.7 (amb= 28.9C), after tightening (finger tight) the Allen screws.
The average hash rate on bfgminer 3.10 is 16 GH/sec for 8 devices.

Looks good. Are you running with 'default settings'?  I use clock=x0981, getting about 2 GH/sec.  Tried a higher setting but there was an increase in HW errors without a real benefit in hash rate, so am staying with x0981.  Using bfgminer 3.10.

According to the Aust Post tracking number you provided my U1's are being delivered today to an address that is about 2500 km away from the address I gave you!

yeap, default settings, I never overclocked it since I havent get any cooler for it. So far din't found any error.

That is great news! Again sorry for the mix up.

I use a simple USB fan, and the HW error rate is very low at x0981.  It pushes it to a long term average of about 2 GH/sec per device. I measured the temp with an IR thermometer and there was no drama.  The power supply used needs to have enough juice to support it as well.

I am a bit confused on weight .   14 u-1's are 32 x 14 =  448 gram plus packing = 40 g   so 448 plus 40 = 488 grams  under the 500 gram low pack and track number.


or is it 14 x 32 = 448 grams plus 14 x 40 = 560 grams total weight of 1008 grams.

I am guessing the first one is correct and 14 sticks keeps me under  0.5 kilo's

I want 14 sticks  that will be .616 btc plus .039 btc for pack and track to the usa  for a  grand total of .655btc
