That's the thing. Soon NXT will be so strong that it doesn't need neither Bitcoin or an exchange.

As it is not implemented yet, we should use the classic exchange to increase NXT awareness.
So yes, let's upvote on Cryptsy and BTC-e in the meantime.

Yes, Yan's concerns are valid with respect to the security elements at the minimum: password length, network strength, and imcreased decentralization to avoid the DDOS issues.
Other exchanges would assist the decentralization, but the exchanges may have concerns attaching to a vulnerable trading partner in this coin.

Yes, as soon as it is open code.

How could you not list a currency people are ready and eager to trade for? It's that simple.

As soon as the code is released it should go to an exchange for automated trading.  If Nxt continues it's success I see no reason it shouldn't be on BTC-E but maybe first it should appear on smaller exchanges.

If BTC-E has any sense, they will list it ASAP... along with any other exchanges that are interested in making a nice profit. The volume over the last week alone is insane. Regardless of your opinion of the coin, the profits an exchange could make with this coin should be enough to convince anyone with a sound business interest to support it.

Nextcoin has big future. BTC-e owners should be wise, and add it to their exchange.

It's not the most recent and has some flaws, so the current source isn't ready to be used in a production environment. I don't think BTC-E will consider listing until the latest source is published.

Regardless I think it might be better for NXT if it's more developed before it hits a major exchange. Things like a better client etc.

btc-e owners are already silently buying (as usuallly). Don't worry, it'll be there soon
