Title: UK capital gains (or any other) tax
Post by: spooderman on December 27, 2013, 04:33:47 PM
Hi there, does anyone know if we have to pay capital gains taxes upon selling BTC at a profit (in the UK that is).

What about other taxes?

Thanks,

Spooder

Only if it's over 6k. But I just wouldn't tell them about it. How good are you at laundering?  ;D

I thought the whole idea of Bitcoin was to keep things safe from prying eyes.

We should not treat crypto as another investment but as a completely new way of doing things.

Why not treat it as a completely new way of investing?

Bought ages ago, and sold a few recently. It's not my job. I'm not a trader as an occupation.
