101% for me. Challenges really do a lot to a person’s not only character but also perspective in life. Every time a person overcome challenges he is stepping up into another level in his life. Life with out challenges will just be boring and monotonous, no thrill and no growth.

I believe challenges and experiences do shape us. Every challenge that we overcome makes us stronger. It helps us to learn from our mistakes and let us grow so that when tough times hit us again, we can overcome it again.

Of course! Just like muscles, if we don't experience challenges or stress once in a while, we won't improve and remain "limpy." Challenges are required for us to grow as strong, skilled and wise individuals.

Just as the old saying goes: "One who has overcome extreme hardship is much more worthy of praise than one who has led an easy life."

Challenge will make our heart become accustomed to be stronger. I once challenged myself by running as far as possible and seeing how much I was capable.

Not sure if the character changes for facing many challenges but surely I can say that it develops ones personality and confident.

What exactly do you mean by improving? I'd say Hitler did have many challenges in his life, but they improve him? I reeaaaaly can't say so.
It really depends on the circumstances of such challenges. Sometimes people can't overcome them, so it really breaks them. So to answer your question, no i don't think challenges improves persons' character often.

Past experiences definitely define us today. What we are now is because of our past actions. Those challenges only shaped us to what we can be. Just have to learn from it and apply it in our lives.

When you overcome each challenge, you will become a little more mature. Each challenge is the experience to improve yourself.

It definitely does. Challenges are the things that show us our real selves, and it'll be the thing that will improve ourselves, makes us stronger, wiser, and steadfast in times of trouble.

Challenges can "change" a person's character. But that change isn't definitely an improvement.

They make you stronger, hardier, build your character, that's right. Your life experience, skills also grow. Up to a certain limit that you can endure and not break, challenges help you to become better.

But they can also awaken bad traits in you. Some people do not stand the test and are amenable to weaknesses. Or they choose a simple way (they steal, rob, etc.), justifying their actions by difficult circumstances. However, one can argue whether their actions are a consequence of circumstances, or circumstances could only reveal their inclinations.

I have one quote by Friedrich Nietzsche on my mind: "That which does not kill us makes us stronger."
That pretty much sums it all up for me.

challenges in some cases does improve character but its not always the case. Whichever way depends on the attitude of the person going through the challenge.

A positive attitude towards challenges can make a person become more patient, resilient and tough while a negative attitude can make a person become depressed, withdrawn and take to crime and addictions.

I don't know if challenges directly improve a person's character, but they will for sure give him/her a wide variety of other options when facing another challenge next time!

Well, that's more likely to happen.
Challenges is simply what gives learning to every people. It does also makes an individual stronger particularly with the struggles and downfalls in their lives. We do all have our own darkest times in which we would or have felt too much negativity like there are no other solutions but to just give up. I do think that it simply boosts one's character especially if he would be able to overcome such situation. "To come back stronger", as they like to say. Defeats are just normal. Loses are meant to be experienced by anyone and there's nothing wrong with that. Just look at the bigger picture that these challenges are simply, creating a new, better, and stronger you.

Can you give  an example to make it clear? it is a bit broad.

I'll make  gambling (https://to.crwd.cr/smtm) as an example. In this kind of activity, losing is more expected to happen than winning. But why do people still choose to play despite of the risk? because everytime they are losing, they would have a mentality to come back with a win on the next day. What inspires them is the fact that there are people who are winning.

There are a lot of kind of challenges that life can encounter , and challenges can make a persons life strong and their character to be strong aswell. Learning from life time to time and failures are also a challenge in life of a person where in if they could possibly win it or not. And from challenges in life the outcome will be better and successfull in the end.

There goes the saying that "what doesn't kill you, can only make you stronger." Just like in online gambling, every time there is a new event or "challenge", I get pumped up and excited to play. It made me to be more competitive and optimistic in life.

We should really face challenges head on so we can learn lessons from them. It is true that the odds in online gambling is exciting and I personally see it as a good mood setter. It is because the gambling part adds spice to the game itself. That even if I lose, I still earn something for myself and be better in the game.

With or without challenges, life must be taken in positive way as much as you can. Unfortunate things are bound to happen every now and then but never lose yourself in the shadow. What I learned about online gambling (https://to.crwd.cr/cm) is that not everyday, you can draw a lucky card, but there is still tomorrows and plenty of cards left in the deck for us to use someday.

Crime is normally a choice, not just experience. So a challenge these people face is whether or not to commit felony
