Title: 1250w PSU good enough for 4x280x Post by: bjalbert on December 28, 2013, 02:51:04 PM Some people say each card uses 250w and others max 300w 8pin +6pin + mobo= 150w+75+75w.
I plan on getting a Seasonic or other top brand 1250w PSU but wanted to double check how runs 4x280x and if they had issues just using 1250w psu. I have the asus DC2T and I can't change the voltage using cgminer or any other software. Maybe just bad luck who knows.

I'm running 4 R9 290x on a 1200W with no issues (thus far)! in a very cold room though with the windows open- near freezing outside.
