Hi Friends,

I want to start a new website like - icobench.com or icostreet.io. where people come and add ICO website, give brief description. i have a big community in crypto, so i get traffic from there.

Please suggest its a good idea or not.

it is a good idea. but takes time to get traffic. look at ours.

you need to join community and make community in multiple social website.. then you get traffic.

Plus, you need some huge amount of promotions or marketing/press releases so ico project and some ico agencies will use or will get partnered with your services/offers.

Its a good idea, doubt about that. What will be your unique value proposition? Just starting a clone of already successful business is not the ideal way to enterpeenuershipa and innovation. The idea can be same but make sure you something that differatiates you from them.

Thats a great idea, In my opinion you should think what will be the added value of your website? think about another model, something new...

This could be a good website depending on how you will brand it and the purposes and authenticity of the activities on that site.Because just bearing the name ICO will not automatically make it a great site .Maybe you should put in measures making sure that any thing that will be published there is legit and rewards better.

That is a forum, not an ICO rating site which the OP have asked.

IMHO, these type of websites are already over crowded. Both ICO sites & coin tracker are in bulk now in terms of its number.
I suggest that you collaborate with your team/colleagues to think another project.

Or, you can try to contact these websites to offer your traffic instead.

The idea is very good, actually I am also thinking on this idea from last one month and looking for someone to start together because initially you have to invest a lot of skills and time for the development and ranking of website then it will be able to get some traffic. Proper SEO and content will be the key to success.

Just build your site and worry about the traffic later. What matters is to make your service better and put a splash of originality even though it is a copy a other established ICO listing websites.

You dont have to reinvent the wheel to start something new.

If you have the coding knowledge then start coding if not just hire a developer. Don't think about the traffic and profit for the meanwhile, you have to build your reputation and many other things as stated above to make your website popular.
And when it's already set, advertisers will just come.

The OP has no problem on the traffic, it is the type of website he is referring to when he created this topic.
Also, he's generally asking if people would still be interested on ICO listing sites (not the technical aspect of making it).
