http://golubev.com/gpuest.htm (http://golubev.com/gpuest.htm) take the MD5 number and multiply it by 62.63 seems to work well for the 5XXX and 6XXX series, but for the rest, it just gives you an idea in proportion. With an unlocked firmware on a 6950 I get ~292 Mhash at 800 MHz and ~321 Mhash at 880 MHz, both with -f 20 and poclbm. I'd say the 5850 is the best hash/$ if you're on a budget.

Hows that for a radeon Hd6950? Good modding skills or what? I normally would say that sarcastically, but I remembered this thread, however was unable to find it for the longest time. I like the info contained within for many uses.
On another note, every one of my 5870s can reach about 430MHash/sec, and if I had a better cooling solution could go above that (I don't overvolt because they're all stuffed together without extenders).
