I got 6150 mining the last ~16 hours with a 280x. Difficulty is rising very fast and it's getting hard to solo. This reminds me pretty much of Applecoin with 75% mined in a few days, which is why I gonna hold.

Seems to me that QQC is isimilar to APC which launched last month. APC is currently trading on the chineese market http://www.btc38.com/trade.html?btc38_trade_coin_name=apc for $0.19 per QQC. This would equate to .25534 BTC per 1,000 QQC.

So, 0.1 BTC per 1,000 QQC seems like a good starting point.

So what are these coins going for? I guess the spreadsheet is useless. 95% of the people on this thread are trying to sell, and they just post higher and higher prices. Perhaps someone could confirm what these coins are actually being sold for. And why their value seems to be starting off so high.

Yes, usually coins like BTC and LTC started with pizza for 10000, because of low difficulty, BUT now we got smarter people, who can count and prognose diff/amount/speed.

What's unbelievable about that price? Its called supply and demand. There are 10 alt coins popping up everyday, a ton of miners and not a lot of buyers. The risk that a coin will just die in a month is at an all time high. The competition is getting greater and greater.

I have read the spec and forum of this coin and the dev. isn't really building a case for why its special. And at .00008+ its priced as if it is special.

Hell, I even bought 1 million NXT for .7 BTC total 2 weeks before dgex opened on a thread like this.

And you want to ask me to pay 80 btc for 1 million QQC. Ok. That makes a lot of sense.

There's really not enough buy depth to support that price though, market cap is neat but still really a theoretical metric.


99% of the time, these new coins hit the market and see a few high initial sales and a subsequent quick drop as the large miners sell off their coins. The price has usually recovered somewhat later on for most of the coins.

Right. Except now the price is starting higher and higher. Just because Applecoin is doing well in China doesn't mean QQC is going to do anything special anywhere

EDIT: Meanwhile I just went to coinup and bought 50k QQC for 2btc (.00004 rate) in less than 5 minutes. So the FUD about that exchange not working or being manipulated is incorrect as well.

yea there are no buy orders at all. nothing is holding this coin from dying . well its a new coin so who knows wha happens in few weeks. also very little movement in market coinedup jsut have no volum. you need cryptsy.

Guess I just cost myself some money.

At any rate, perhaps people will now start selling at a reasonable rate and focus on promotion and building a real community around this coin. Would really like to see that happen.
