Anybody knows who they are? They seem to be bleeding fees...

edit: or is that unavoidable due to the high number of inputs?

Looks like the fee bleeding has stopped in the meantime...

The tool is called chainsnort and is my new little project - more info here (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=373490.0)...

Thanks for asking :)

It belongs to Bitstamp (was tracing some stolen BTCs that ended up there).

Those high-fee tx are large and consist of 100+ inputs.
But still, the sender is paying a high per KB fee...

For example:
Tx ID: 78c7934c5d32028e0c60741f99068f50a7342c674b077fca320386c77569f094
Size 24791 (bytes)
Fees 0.0355 BTC

Per KB fee = 0.0355 / 25 = 0.00142

Thanks for the share. Possibly an exchange like someone mentioned Bitstamp.
