Title: Best SETUP to reach 20MH/s? Post by: DarkMiningBTC on December 30, 2013, 02:43:13 AM trying to reach around 20MH/s but I'm stuck on exactly what to go for, I'm thinking using r9 290's or maybe r9 270's not sure how much is the best bang for the buck :/ Any recommended rig specs to reach 20 MH/s?

280x's will get ~700 kh/s on stock settings 290's will get ~ 850-900 (but generate far more heat) 290s require much more airflow and possibly water cooling to keep running for long periods of time. Each 270 will do about 420 khash which means each rig will do about 2mhash/s. Price per 270 is less then half of a 280x with the current market. Yes a 280x would be sweet, but they are just way overpriced right now.
