Post by: rog1121 on December 30, 2013, 03:10:26 AM
I just started a pool recently over at http://doge.rapidhash.net and wanted to know what you guys look for in a pool to deem it worthy and worth switching to?

In order of importance in my opinion:
1) Trust that the owner isn't screwing people over.
2) Security of the site.
3) Reliability of the mining portion of the pool.
4) Size of the pool/Time between payouts.
5) Communication between the pool owner and users for things like maintenance and outages.

To have good support, the site should be easy to use and the pool running smoothly. That's the basic from my opinion. There are quite a lot of other factors.
