Title: [WTS] SOLD: 30Ghash Hosted 30 days 0.217BTC $0 hosting costs
Post by: miaviator on January 01, 2014, 02:51:17 AM
OP Heavily Edited on 1/1

I'm offering 30Ghash +10%/-5% variance.

Hashes to your pool based on cgminer quota: I have 300Ghash mining on a dedicated miner.  You would be purchasing 1/10th of that -> this means I have a 270Ghash vested interest in keeping the miner online.

30 days (One calendar Month)

0.217BTC - OBO

Compensation for any downtime based on prorated price (hourly)

If you believe the diff will beat my calculation (If diff windows will be less than 30% per diff): BTCinvest ROI calc (http://btcinvest.net/en/bitcoin-mining-profit-calculator.php?diff=1180923195.258&dcosts=.25&diff_mincrease=30&blpbtc=25&dhsmhs=30000&diff_mincreasedecrease=0.1&btcusd=1&dpowcon=0&btcusd_mincrease=0&pcost=0&calcweeks=3&dleadtime=0&action=calc) you will ROI.  If not, go away.

Just a note, you put the cost field in at .25 USD, not .25 BTC. Should put the current value at $200 USD instead, which is the current mtgox price at .25 BTC.

ROI would be possible within a month if the difficulty never jumps more than 30% before February. So long as you keep it up even after it becomes non-profitable for you, yourself.

Tempting...

Thanks for the note.  Here is my rationale:

That calc is determining BTC ROI based on BTC invested and BTC returned.  There is 0 speculation in regards to BTC/$ exchange rate as I want BTC not $.

I always set the USD/BTC value to 1.  Since there is no electric/hosting/cooling etc with this deal those calcs are accurate at 30% diff jumps for just under 30 days.

If you believe the BTC/USD price will jump and you are in $ then this is a good deal (based on my numbers) if you believe the diff at the end of January will be less than 1,994,380,572 then this may be a good deal.

The last two diff jumps have been ~15% and ScamFast clearly isn't shipping anything.  Based on that this could be a great deal.

Agreement to lease 30Ghash of sha256 "bitcoin" mining power.

EnJoyThis agrees to pay (Undisclosed)BTC to miaviator in exchange for 30 days of mining power rated at 30Ghash +10%/-5% variance.

TimeFrame:  From 1/1/2014 13:00 EST through 1/30/2014 13:00 EST (delivery may be early depending on payment confirmation)

Terms:
1. miaviator hosts a dedicated miner with 60+Ghash of total mining power using various asics.
2. miaviator will use cgminer --quota to provide the hashing power equivalent to 30Ghash (+10%/-5% variance) to a pool of the buyers choice.
3. miaviator will cover all hosting/electric/cooling/network/hardware maintenance costs.
4. In the event that the miner is unavailable for any reason a refund will be provided to the buyer calculated on an hourly basis (in one hour blocks) based on: contract price / 30 days / 24 hours * hours of downtime = (undisclosed)BTC per hour
5. In the event the buyers pool is unavailable for any reason cgminer will automatically move the mining power to miaviators other pools (which may include other Buyers pools)
6. In order to maintain a "vested interest" in keeping the miner online miaviator will maintain at least the equivalent of the leased mining power (30Ghash) for internal use.
7. The maximum liability for miaviator is limited to the initial purchase price decreasing per hour the purchased ghash are available.
8. Any increase in hashing power will not be considered a breach by either party.
9. Ghash numbers are as reported by cgminer.  The total contract hashing rate is after HW errors are taken into account.  Pool rejects/stales/availability are not considered a decrease in the provided hashing power.
