I have some savings in btc, and I'm waiting for a good moment for selling. I've seen that fabulous rise during past autumn, and I've seen that drop of December. Do you think the price will continue to grow in January? It is vital for me to sell as early as it can be done while minimizing the the losses (in fact, I bought most of my btc when it was about 900$), because now I plan to buy decent equipment to mine scrypt coins. With difficulty increasing each day, I think my reason is clear. So, what's your opinion on this? I'd hold and wait till the price rises; seems silly selling now for a loss. Don't sell for a loss, the price is not going up or down at the moment and long term it has a good chance of going TO DA MOON!. Sell half if you need the money but if you don't need it might as well hold and see what happens. If you're around you can always sell if it goes south like crazy.

Stupiest thing I ever heard was someone selling their btc for loss just to buy mining rigs for altcoins. I hope that's not you??? April/May and at the end of the year are the historic boost periods. Although looking at the chart February might be good aswell :) There are better charts but I picked this one.
