Title: BitCoin client, From & Message un-used? Post by: JollyGreen on February 28, 2011, 01:26:08 AM I quickly looked thru the source and it looks like the bitcoin client only uses/sends the from & message fields if you specify an ip address. Can anyone else verify that these fields are un-used if you specify a bitcoin address?
