Hashrate is a multipool, it mines other coins using hash power and sells them for Nxt. A leased forging pool is different. You lease your forging power to another account who forges 24/7 for all the pool members and then distributes any forging fees they get. When this pool was set up, you had to transfer your Nxt to the forging pool and trust them to send it back. With leased forging, you keep your Nxt in your account and just lease your forging power. After sifting through all of the Google results when I went to nxtcrypto.org (http://pool.nxtcrypto.org) forging pool to check my status and came upon a blank page, here is what I found: Apparently, the pool forked at some point and it took some time to reach the dev for a resolution. If you had leased your balance to nxtcrypto.org (http://pool.nxtcrypto.org), you are currently still forging (assuming your lease has not expired).
