Zawawa was working on a new/improved kernel for Equihash in his GatelessGate mining software, but I don't think it's released to the public yet. With the Equihash asics coming this summer there isn't as much incentive for developers to work on that algorithm now. Title: Re: "Best" Zcash miner? As for bminer, i`ve heard stories of it doing some unsavoury things in the past, something with keeping an open port or something. I can`t tell if that had changed tho, or is it completely safe to use, since i`ve never used it myself, been more than happy with dstm.
