I'm currently building my fist mining rig, with 2 R9 280x cards. I wanted to know if its possible to have both cards mining separate coins? For example, I have one card mining at a auto-switching pool, while the other card is mining some new coin solo. Also, if I were to add 2 more cards to this, then have 3 cards at the pool, while one card mines a coin solo. Is this possible? I'm specifically leaving this not so clear so that you learn something and read up on how to set up your miners and failover pools.. If I tell you the answer you've learned nothing other than to copy and paste.. So In summary, yes you can mine 50+ pools with your cards you just have to tell them how you want their hashrate distributed.

In all honesty if you can figure out how to set up one pool, you should be able to get multiple ones set up fairly easy.
