Title: Cloud mining that allows me use my own pool Post by: osoverflow on January 03, 2014, 07:48:57 AM Hi! I want to know if there is a cloud mining service that allows me to write my own mining pool url user and password.
Currently all that I see in the market uses their own pool, and I want to choose my own pool, and only use their hashing power. Thank you Title: Re: Cloud mining that allows me use my own pool Post by: firejuan on January 03, 2014, 08:56:27 AM I would be interested in such a service as well.

I don't think it would make a difference in payout. Is it a trust issue ? Title: Re: Cloud mining that allows me use my own pool Post by: TechByPC on January 03, 2014, 09:30:36 PM Trust is an issue, but I think diversity is a more important one. We just saw HHTT close its doors and I expect some other pools will as well when they experience similar longer periods of dry luck. I would feel a lot better about renting temporary hash power if it were going somewhere other than ghash.io, for example.
Title: Re: Cloud mining that allows me use my own pool Post by: osoverflow on January 05, 2014, 01:18:41 AM I want to choose the pool with better reward and lower fees. And maybe another coin with the same hashing type.
Title: Re: Cloud mining that allows me use my own pool Post by: eleuthria on January 05, 2014, 04:31:41 AM That would require them to actually own as much hash rate they're selling. That's asking quite a lot from "cloud mining" services.

That's asking quite a lot from "cloud mining" services. LOL. Too true. It's never ceases to amaze me at how Bitcoin participants consistently reward the least ethical people in the business. |
